Project Aims
Looking for Parents or Carers to join our Children’s Patient Safety Family Forum.
This group is made up of other parents and carers and meets in a relaxed and informal setting. It has been meeting for about four years but is now looking for new members to join it. The group works with researchers to support research on patient safety among children and young people. Parents and carers will advise and support this research around patient safety and will have potential opportunities to contribute to research projects and to support applications for funding.
You don’t need previous experience of research to join this group, just be a parent or carer with experience of healthcare for their children and someone that wants to make a positive difference. You will be remunerated for the time you spend giving your time to this group. We are looking for people to join this group for our next Family Forum in September 2026.
